MY REVIEW

K. Webster and Ker Dukey have two of the most twisted minds I've ever known, man, they nailed this!

The story picks up where book one left, with all the chaos unleashed, and we start to learn (and confirm some suspicions) the background of Benny's madness. I really like that they didn't make me love Benny, they didn't justify his actions at all and that made the story more raw. I have to say that this book is darker, has more gore, is more graphical and intense. I literally had to stop reading at 40% because my blood pressure went down and I got nausea. Again, they nailed it!

It was also very interesting to see how they took Stockholm syndrome to a whole new level. Macy is seriously f*cked up, we knew it from the ending of book one but seriously didn't expect it to be like that. It was a surprise.
Jade is by all means one of the strongest characters I've come around. I seriously don't know how she endured everything. Girl, you deserve a vacation with all expenses paid!
And finally, Dillon is my babe, fine? Don't touch him 'cause he's mine lol.

I was expecting expecting the ending to be like that, though I seriously demand more, ladies!

To sum up, I have to say that Webster and Dukey are a great pair, their narrative flows good together, the style fuses and they make us gag and scream. Please keep working as a unit!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.

About Ker Dukey

My books all tend to be darker romance, edge of you seat, angst filled reads. My advice to my readers when starting one of my titles…prepare for the unexpected. I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters growing up. My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light; some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling. When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister. Come find me on Facebook, where I love interacting with my readers.
